Yes, Candidate account is free.
- Just click on the Register link at the top right corner.
- Ensure that you click on the Candidate tab. Make sure the tab turns green after clicking on it. Fill up your preferred username and a valid email address and click “Register Your Account”.
- A password will be sent to your email address immediately.
- Check your email for the initial password. Log in with your username, and the password.
- It is recommended that you change your initial password after login under My Profile.
Once you have signed up and logged in to your Candidate account, your next step should be to change your account password immediately due to security reason.
To change your password:
- Click “My Profile” under your name on the top right corner.
- Under “Change Password” block, enter the initial password, which was sent to your email, into the “Current Password” text box.
- Enter your new password of at least 12 random characters made up of upper and lower case alphabets, numbers and special characters.
- Repeat the same new password under “Confirm New Password” text box.
The main steps to apply for jobs are:
- Sign up for a free Candidate account.
- Login to your account.
- Create your online resume.
- Search for suitable jobs and apply using your online resume. You can also upload your resume files in Word or PDF formats.
Your online resume needs to be created first before you can apply for jobs. It will be much easier for you later on to apply for jobs.
Yes, it is free to create your resume. Your resume will be online which means you create your resume using the online form at JobsMercury. You can create up to 20 free online resumes. There is no expiration of your resume.
You can publish your online resume which will only be searchable and viewable by Employers.
You can also choose to hide your online resume if you wish to.
You can set your resume as:
- Hidden – your resume is private and not searchable by Employers.
- Publish – your resume is unhidden and it is searchable by Employers only.
